Their music is clearly influenced by the british acid, and goes from funk to hip bossa or new jazz, and with a fresh and dynamic groove which remembers some sixties' and seventies' images, with myths like Shaft or Cleopatra Jones.

The Cinnamon Gum discography is now composed by an Ep in a vinyl size, edited by Bad Seed Records (Rock Club-Ourense) and a CD called "The Past To Come", recorded and edited in March-May 2003 by Enterphonics (Ourense).
BIOGRAPHY:

Born in October 2001, Cinnamon Gum is a band which first idea, as a trio, was to define their music as "swimming-pool funky". Later this idea attracts new musicians, who come from other musical worlds, like folk, rock or jazz, and who see themselves identificated with the concept called "Cinnamon Gum", a whole of rhythms and harmonies which go from acid jazz to funk with retro memories.

Their presentation took place this year in the anniversary's conmemoration of The Rock Club concert hall, which was the first step to a long list of concerts, among : The Playa Club (A Coruña), the Xove Vigo Festival (Vigo), the fifth Canjazz Edition (Cangas do Morrazo), the Grooving Among Stones Festival (Santiago), the Rock Palace (Madrid) and the Festival do Norte (Vilagarcía de Arousa), places where they have been the protagonists with artists like: "La Habitación Roja", Volovan or Manu Chao.
